Saskatchewan residents can apply online with payday lenders licensed by the Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority (FCAA). The province’s Payday Loans Act covers you when you are in Saskatchewan at the time you take the loan, whether you apply online, by phone or in person.

Shorter cancellation window
Saskatchewan gives you until the end of the next business day after signing to cancel without a reason or cost. That is shorter than in Ontario or BC, so if you have doubts, act the next morning.
What a missed payment can cost
Saskatchewan caps default charges more tightly than most provinces. On a $570 balance that is 30 days late, 30% a year in interest comes to about $14, plus one NSF charge of up to $25, even if several payments bounce. No other default fees are allowed.
One loan at a time
Only one payday loan may be outstanding at once, and lenders cannot charge you to roll over or extend it. Check the FCAA’s list of licensed lenders before you apply.
