Effective date: October 7, 2026. These terms govern your use of jessicashouse.ca. By using the site you agree to them.
What we provide
Jessica's House provides information about short-term loans and helps you apply to provincially licensed lenders. We are not the lender unless your agreement states otherwise. Any loan is made under a separate agreement between you and the lender, on that lender’s terms.
No guarantee of approval
Submitting an application does not guarantee approval or any loan amount. Lenders make their own decisions based on verification of your identity, income and banking information and on the rules in your province.
Eligibility
You must be at least the age of majority in your province, a resident of a province where the lender is licensed, and able to enter a binding contract. Payday loans are not offered to residents of Quebec.
Your responsibilities
- Give accurate, complete and current information.
- Apply only for yourself.
- Keep your login details and verification codes private.
- Read your loan agreement before signing.
Calculator and content
The calculator shows the maximum cost permitted by law and is an estimate only. Our guides are general information, not financial or legal advice, and may not reflect every change in the law. Confirm details with your lender or provincial regulator.
Fees
We do not charge borrowers to use this site. Lenders charge the cost of borrowing set out in your agreement, within federal and provincial limits.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Jessica's House is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site or from decisions made by lenders.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and will post the new effective date. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
